Mike is the retired superintendent of the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park and served on numbers of Pike Bicentennial committees.

He serves on the Frémont Co. Tourism Council.

He is an avid outdoors person but will not bungy jump off the Royal Gorge suspension bridge.
