In 1964, Jim received his BS in Economics from Missouri Valley College. and had a business career with garment manufacturing. He then headed Mallory Warren Investment Real Estate.
Jim has held a variety of positions with the Lewis & Clark Trail Heritage Foundation.
He is a past President of the Lewis & Clark Trail Heritage Foundation and is Vice chairman Lewis and Clark Trust, Inc.
He has read extensively on Pike and offers periodic encouragement and suggestions to the Pike NHT Association.
He is an Eagle Scout and member of Sons of the American Revolution.
Jim and Paula have two grown sons, Scott & Brian.
